couple mods im planning was wondering if anyone has had any success with them in the past.

i'm buying a new chain so i thought i might drop a tooth on the front sprocket, now i know 400's dont have the greatest top end in the first place so is it worth sacrificing for acceleration?

new chain guard, my crappy plastic chain guard looks awful, i was wondering if replacment alloy or metal ones exist?

going to jack up the rear end, im quite tall so i'm told this can help a little but really if it improves handling even slightly it's got to be worth a try.

any advice or wisdom would be really usful  :thanks:
to mess somthing up is human, but to really phuck it up you need a computer.

I would stick with the stock gearing if your going to ride it on the street, If you drop the front sprocket on tooth you will amke 1st gear useless, as for the chain gaurd and hugger if Its discolored you can paint it with the new plastic paints they have out now or try taking some armourall and wiping it on, you will be amazed as how it looks after.
