Title: Is there still hope of getting back the old posts?

Not complaining but just wondering if there was still hope for getting back all the old info that was accumulated or if it's gone wherever stray electrons go? If that's the case, maybe some of us have bits and pieces on our hard drives which we could send in to reconstruct some info e.g. I have some of the info that was about the USD fork replacement on my hard drive. Just a :idea:

I wouldn't mind seeing that dyi clutch plate replacement and the cdi repair thread come back...

Maybe, but we have to wait for Mike to get out of the hospital and feel well enough to try. He thinks he has a copy of the board stashed somewhere.

The problem may be that we would have to trash all the posts that are here now to restore the old stuff.  It's still a work in progress!  Stay tuned...

Im for those 2. really just the cdi but the clutch was really detailed for others. or if someone saved the cdi for dummies one , email it to me .

It's not real likely we'll get back the old posts from this BBS.

    It is possible we'll be able to transfer the messages from the OLD board to this one.
  There is a program that converts the messages from EzBoard, (Our old board) to a format that can be imported to this type of board.  (Php)

  We may play with this in a week or so.
  This would at least restore a lot of the information that's cool to have around, but not the messages from the last 5 months on this board.

It's too bad that we would lose the posts made on this board....but I'd really like to see the FAQs from the old board back at least. If we could get more that's very cool.  I'm sure that this has been a major time sync. Thanks for everyone's efforts to keep this going.

Unfortunately, the database where we got that is from January - before the good CDI and clutch posts here.   :duh:
