yup got her back from the shop today!! dang that d&d pipe is NASTY!! i love it. is running heaps better than when i first got it. the new pick up and having the carb probs fixed has made a big difference. still a bit fluffy in top sitting on 8000rpm. will be getting a jet kit in the next few months which will hopefully fix that once its tuned. flatout change from 1st to second saw the front wheel jump off the ground a little which really suprised me!!! will post some pics eventually when its lookn a bit better. pilot powers feel really good will go for a good ride tomorrow before embarking on a 1500km trip this weekend.

I agree, if I don't have plugs with my V&H I'm hurting after 30-45min!

Haha. it's not just the loud pipes, earplugs are good protection from  the freeway wind and the screaming old ladies.

Yeah - he actually has my old D&D.   It really didn't bother me too much if I were out having fun in the twisties but on my commute, cruising at 7-8K for long periods.... my ears were ringing when I got home if I didn't use plugs.  Glad you got her running nice, millsi.

your right bout commuting. ears are ringing lol!! scrubbed the tyres in today, scraping the exhaust and the side stand were the only dramas. just bout to fit a pushbike speedo.
