Title: Manual Cam Chain Tensioner
Post by: Forde on May 18, 2008, 02:46:53 PM
Ok, so i guess the reason for buying one of these is that the standard auto tensioner reaches the end of its adjustment before the chain is actually out of spec?  Is that right?

Anyway, my cam chain is noisy.  Well i think its the cam chain, im no expert.  So how much am i looking at for one of these manual cam chain tensioners and where can i get one?? Anywhere in the uk would be handy but i can buy it from the usa and have it sent over anyway if needs be.

Cheers.

Hmmm, thats £38.50, not too bad.  I take it that i was right in my assumption of what these are for and that one will cure my noisy cam chain?

Are they hard to fit?  How do ya do it?
