I had to adjust the air/fuel mixture idle screws the other day on my wife's Ninja. I have the fancy Motion Pro right-angle screw driver and still it was a pain in the ass. Today I ran across this.

God that would make life easier. I still have yet to tune my Bandit from the carb rejet I just did. Has any one here seen these before or know where to get them?
fyi: I found the pic here, http://members.aol.com/cloudhid/ , with some guy's KLR pics, no explanation or contact info. KLR's have Keihin and ours are Mikunis, finding these are kind of a long shot, I know.

Holy crap - THOSE would be great!
-
They would be nice, but yes, getting a set to fit our carbs would be challenging (possibly).
I have good luck just putting on a glove and reaching in there with just a 1/4" slotted screwdriver bit and turning them by hand.
-
Maybe it's just me (probably???) but I'm never 100% sure the driver is in the slot.
-
Ya, I do that too, with just the screw driver bit. But I agree with Pitter, actually feeling the bit in slot of the screw head is hard. The Motion Pro screwdriver already has a lot of resistance when turning, so I'm not sure if I'm actually turning the pilot screw.
-
Personally I can't be bothered even trying to adjust those screws without being able to see them. I always drain the carbs, flip 'em over, screw 'em in counting the turns, and re-turn them to what I want...
I have a hard enough time remembering how many turns I've turned when I can see the slot!

Mike - put a mark on your screwdriver and count how many times it comes around.

I emailed carburetor guru Marc Salvisberg at Factory Pro and asked him if they sold them, or if he knew who might. I'll let you guys know what he says.

Bah, you and your dots. I've only got a 5 sec memory. I look at the slot and count 1/2 turns. Usually I end up triple checking everything. But I'm paranoid!
