Just curious...what kind of gas mileage are you guys getting with your B4s? This isn't really that important to me, or the reason I ride motorcycles (although the importance is rising as supposedly gas prices around here will be $3 per gallon this summer), but it is a good indication of how in-tune the motorcycle is. I think the last fill-up I got around 40mpg, mayble a little less. I thought it would be better than this?

Dave - what's your set-up - jetkit, exhaust, filter...? That makes a difference.
It's been so damn long since I rode it's hard to remember but I think I was averaging in the low 40s with a slip-on, stage 1 jet kit and a K&N filter.

I get about about 40 mph.

In 1991 cycle worlds Bandit 400 tests showed:
Fuel mileage
High/Low/Average
54/36/42 mpg
So 40 mpg sounds about right.

Thanks for the input...my B4 is completely stock, so I guess I'm doing okay. I should just change the plugs for the hell of it (not sure when the previous owner last did this).

Avg 20km/liter or 49mpg, all stock except for K&N (SU008) air filter.
