Title: Mudguards fitting a B4?
Post by: Farre on January 10, 2006, 06:07:10 AM
I've been wondering which kinds of front mudguards fit an early b4. I know that the gsxr400 fits and also an RGV250 (ealry model?)
On some pages i saw the RGV250 shares a lot with an Aprilia RS250. Does this include the mudgard?
For example, this one on ebay: http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/APRILIA-RS-250-MUDGUARD-96_W0QQitemZ8027685103QQcategoryZ78417QQssPageNameZWD2VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The front looks like an RGV250, but the part behind the fork looks suspicious.. i don't think this'll fit

A GS 500 mudguard will fit but you don't want that  I think the best mudguard is the stock one, I haven't found one that looks better.

aww shucks...
the Bandit 400 mudguards are a little pricey for the moment on ebay IMHO and i want to get it fast. I'm trying to locate some breakers in Belgium but there are not much and 9 out of 10 times they don't have it..

I think GS500 mudguard is cheap, it fits but imo it's quite ugly. Doesn't matter if it's only temporary, I thought you were looking to replace your stock one with a different, nicer, one.

ehh, no mine is currently trashed, from the accident more than 1 month ago.

if there is a nicer one, i'd like to know about it
I am particularly interested in the gsxr-type front mudguard. A little more basic perhaps, but i like it...

thought of something.. didn't the old b6 mudguard fit?

btw, most of those bids are for UK only, they're not shipping to "the mainland",   too bad, so sad..

They will ship anywhere I suppose. But shipping from the UK to us is very expensive. For example I bought my Yosh RS-3 for 16 pounds and had to pay 42 pounds shipping  For an exhaust system I'd have to pay 250 euros shipping  That's more expensive than shipping from the US.
