Was out on the bike & took some photos
« on: July 29, 2008, 04:49:14 AM »
Hi everyone,

Was a sunny day today but sadly very humid as always here in Japan. Just bought an engine bolt kit from Banditmania in the UK, should be here in a few days. They listed both the 400 & the 250.

Fantastic!

Where abouts are you in Japan?  I'll be visiting Osaka again at the end of the year and was looking for some good shops for parts/accessories etc for my Japanese Bandit 400 - any tips?  Also, where did you find that screen?

I'm just outside Tokyo so not sure about bike shops in Osaka. Look for shops like Ricoland or Drivers Stand for small things. Up in Tokyo, theres the Ueno bike shops but they're a bit overpriced. Maybe look on http://www.gaijinriders.com/ and ask them?

The screen is made by Daytona and I bought it over here.

Nice looking bike. Interesting pipe, never seen one before!

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

That's a sweet little ride you have. I was at Misawa from 93-96 before I separated from the AF and got into the reserves. I'd like to go back and see how it's changed. Northern Honshu had some excellent scenery for riding, but the roads were in poor condition.
