Title: New B4 Owner looking for Parts/Manual

Hi,
I am in Alaska and the riding season is short (fixing season is long with a 9 month winter) I have a blue 91 Bandit 400 and am looking for a gas tank in good shape and some body plastics. I also need both right and left engine covers as previous owner laid bike down.
Is the radiator fan supposed to come on with ignition or only when hot as mine comes on when I turn the key...
I tried your sticky link for the manual and it is broken. The link for the fiche work well though. Thanks for a good site and I am looking on Ebay for parts as well but just wanted to see if anyone had these parts out there. Thanks again for a cool site. -Ron

The fan is supposed to come on thermostatically. Sounds like the thermoswitch may have gone bad and someone bypassed it so the fan would always be on.

Thanks for the answer, I will troubleshoot tonight and replace switch if necessary.
