Here's a recent pic of the bike. Since the last one s I have removed the fairing, installed new Michelin Pilot Roads, CRG billet bar end mirror (still waiting for the other one to come in) and I painted the wheels black. Does anyone know of a good paint for the headers? They keep turning white on me.

Nice, Ron. Some day I'm going to have some extra coin for those CRG mirrors. What paint are you using on the pipes? I used the VHT Flameproof stuff. It works ok. They still turned after a while - not as bas as yours, tho.

I haven't seen an over-the-counter paint yet that won't turn or burn off.
I'm thinking the only thing that's gonna hold up is something like ceramic coating or plating, neither of which are very cheap, especially for one-at-a-time applications.
Performance Coatings (http://www.performancecoatings.com/) does motorcyle 4-1 headers starting ~$100. They do offer black, as well as a chrome look, blue and various shades of gray. These guys are in the Seattle area, so there may be something like them closer to you.

Update.
I bought some paint at walmart for barbeque grills and it hasn't posed a problem yet. It's not a very dark black, but it's better than what it was. I finally got the other CRG mirror in, but the bike isn't running right now so I have yet to install it.
