Title: Nology (or Accel) coils for B400?
Post by: xocoatl on September 01, 2011, 09:04:43 AM
Hey, I want to change my old coils. Do you think these will fit B400?

Also do you know where to buy these or Accels in Europe?
If not I will have to buy them from Amazon US and pay for shipping.

Thanks.

If you want to save a bit of weight and simplify the system, may I suggest just switching to stick coils as are found on new bikes? It gets rid of the coil "block" and instead puts a coil where each spark plug boot is. You can find them for newer bikes pretty cheaply on eBay and, with incredibly simple soldering, modify them for the Bandit.

+10 on switching to coil on plug.  I did that on my B400 for less than $40 total cost and it runs smoother than with the original coils.  Also less clutter under the tank.

Lets see some pics. What bike did you get the coil in wires from?
