Depends on how much. Oil will feed into your airbox from the breather at the top of the engine. A little is "normal". How much are we talking?

not too much, it had probably been collecting in there for a while...the carbs were pretty clogged for a while so I had taken it apart to spray carb cleaner in the intake ports and had noticed there was oil pooled at the bottom of the air box...runs much better now but misses at idle, think one of the jets might be clogged

Are we talking about an ounce? A pint?
I'd clean it out and keep an eye on it. I found the same when I cleaned out my airbox for the first time. I pulled out probably a cup full of liquid. I haven't found any significant amounts since.

not too much, i soaked it up with a rag, just didn't expect it to be in there....

Yup - like Stormi says, a little is normal.

Yeah, it did it to me also, usually after rain. You have a drain stopper at the bottom you can use to drain it. For me it wasn't straight oil, more of a oily water.
