18-8944 K&L PN, referencing Suzuki PN 13250-17C00

I don't have a price for these yet (just now realizing I need them myself), but certainly cheaper than buying a whole kit.  Visit K&L Supply online to find a dealer near you and see if you can glance at page 181 to verify/order.  

I don't think any of the shops here are open on Mondays, but I'll get a firm PN and price this week.  Thought it does NOT look like K&L offers the kit that Jay found (through CarbKitCapital), (https://www.carbkitscapital.com/carb_kit_list_part.php?make=Suzuki&cat=Carb_Kit) so if you're looking to get that stuff, it might be a better deal.

$35 at my local Kawi dealer (the Suzuki dealer doesn't do K&L and I got the impression that I'm paying a premium because it's a Suzuki).  That's for a pack of 5.  

All people who Haven't rebuilt their carbs with new o-rings and gaskets would be better off with the CarbKitCapital thing (through eBay, their website is more expensive by the cost of shipping).  

Hindsight for me now (and spending slightly more $$$), but maybe new people will search and find this before wasting money.

Brian , here is another one that company offers the rubber slide parts the diaphragm as a separate replacement instead of buying the whole slide bet that would make for some nice throttle response if some one figures out which ones to use.

on carbkitcapital i cant see anything for the gsf400, or any suzuki 400, which one do you need?

And also, does anyone know what model of mikuni carb we have on our bikes?  Ive got a non VV model.

bs something 32 or 33 your looking at 88 gsxr 750 j stuff if the shipping ends up being to much let me know i will solve that problem for you.

cool i appreciate that man

i probly wont be buying a carb kit just now i have a bunch of other stuff i need to get done this next month or so but when i get a bit of spare cash ill get a carb rebuild kit and maybe a jet kit or something too.

Im just saving these links for future reference lol.  So 88' gsxr750 has the same carbs then?

Carbs are Mikuni BST32, and Jay says that the kit for these bikes:

GSXR 750 (88)
GSX 750 F (89-94)
GSXR 1100 (89-90)

fit ours too.  But googling for our carb doesn't show that those bike share, though we do share with 90~97 Katana 600's. He's got LOTS more experience with the B4/derivitives than I do, so I trust his word..  to the point that I've spent money on those float needles.

So just sharing my experience with using the info in this thread to rebuild my carbs.

The K+L float valve part number 18-8944 worked for me, but the float valves I originally got from the carbkitcapital rebuild kit for the gsxr750 (part number 48-1944, http://www.carbkitscapital.com/carb_kit_list_model.php?make=Suzuki&model=GSXR750) came with a slightly shorter float valve (~ 1.5 mm shorter) and I believe this caused the float valve to leak, causing the carbs to leak fuel.

The taller K+L float valve fixed the problem. Side-by-side, the float valves looked identical, you had to really inspect them or measure with calipers to see a difference. So maybe a parts mix-up in the kit I got. Something to check for.

Hope this helps someone. It took me a few months of  :duh: :yikes: :banghead: to figure out.
