Been told by the mechanic who sorted my cylinder problem out, that the petcock isn't working properly. Is there an alternative from another model, or have I just got too keep looking on ebay for a direct replacement?
Thanks

I'm assuming (because that's what I do), you're talking about the one on the tank. The P/N should be 44300-10D01 for a 91 bandit 400. Found one online pretty easily for $73.41 + shipping at http://www.motogrid.com . You can probably find them other places. I didn't search too hard. Hope this helps.

Pingel sells valves, too. With or without vacuum control. They don't list the B4, but with all the applications they do have, I'm sure there's something there that'll work. These are popular with the B12 drag race junkies that need petcocks that will flow more fuel that the OE piece.

Belated thanks for the replies. Other thinks have taken up my time lately. Planning on sorting this ASAP.

If you search this forum for "Pingle", you should find p/n's that work on the B4. I'm pretty sure others have gone that route.
