Guys how can I determine the polarity of the wires coming from the igniter to the igntion coils with the use of the multi meter? Were will I put the meters probes? What is the effect of e reversed polarity connection to the ignition coils? Thanks.

they have a plus and minus on the coils and a digital multi meter it wouldnt matter if you hooked it up wrong it would just say neg or pos.

I noticed it too that on the ignition coil there is a +/- sign underneath. What Im asking are the wires from coming from the igniter. When we are talking about the connections of the 1&4 cylinder which of the 2 wires should I connect to the + side of the coil? How can I determine which of the 2 wires is for the + by the use of the voltmeter?

Dont need the volt meter for that look at it and it will smack you in the face wich 2 wires look the same ( same color or colors) those two are the positive ones.

say you have all 4 wires off to the coils well 2 of those wires are gonna look alike get it one of them 2 that look alike go to each coil on the positive side
