Just cool to see a REAL 250 here in Canada....especially one with only 3000 kms on the clock! I wanna buy it just to keep as a show piece!

That guy imports all sorts of old jap bikes. GSXR400, CBR400s, NSRs, TZR... pretty cool. Some are in great shape... others not so much. He also gets crazy cars. I so want a skyline gt-r.
-
theres a bunch of Skylines driving around Montreal....theyre starting to get real cheap...around $15K!!!
-
Oooohhhh a Skyline would be so nice!
-
So is it just the same chassis on the 250,but with the smaller engine?Looks like a dead ringer for the 400,but those fork tubes look huge next to that little bitty engine.
And yea,I seriously considering a Skyline for my next car, since they can be brought into Canada now and its much easier to get them Americanized.Spent that last 10 years building my RX-7,I could sell it for about what a Skyline would cost......A newer car would be nice, but on the flip side, modding a Skyline for the same performance as my Rex would break the bank......

The second one was nearly in my price range... I like the the skylines because they're kind of a sleeper...
The rex7 is NICE... what do you do for a living? I'm obviously in the wrong field.

Just a poor old tractor mechanic.
Actually,I work at my buddies equipment rental yard so I wrench on everything from weedeaters to Peterbuilts.Im basically the head of the shop since Ive been there 12 years(Im 31), and I have ACTUAL mechanical ability unlike most of the kids and burnouts we tend to hire/fire.
The Rex was a $400,non running heap 10 years ago when I got it.It took the full 10 years for me to turn it around to where she is now......a turbocharged,Widebody,300HP,fuel injected,CA smog legal daily driver that can still eek out 20MPG.I handled just about everything but the short block and the paint,so lots less labor outpay during the build.Still not a cheap project by any means, but having intimate knowledge of rotaries helps me to make side money, plus healthy credit and a single lifestyle keeps the bucks availible!

Looks amazing for a $400 non-runner. You should be in the business of building cars.

LOVE that Rex. I've always wanted one of those. Really nicely done.
