Title: questions about B250 front end vs. B400 front end
Post by: rooster on March 17, 2012, 07:07:40 AM
Hi guys,

I have a 1992 B250 (Jap import, clip-on bar type) I am dead keen on this GSXR 750 front end swap as a hobby project.

What I need to clarify are the differences between the front end and steering head of the B250 and B400 of this first generation (1990-1994).

The 1990-1995 pre-SRAD GSXR 750 front end bolts right up to the B400 steering head as I understand it, with some mods for steering stops and headlight mounts. This is the attraction for me as I am fairly practical but not too experienced with bikes so I wanna keep it simple.

Would this also mean it will bolt up to the steering head on a early B250 as well? Are the steering head/steering stem/bearings on the 250 the same as 400? I have noticed that the 250 and 400 are very very similar in many ways except the engine.
