GSF400 V REV DESTRICTER

Seen this on ebay 8051635673 . Does ne body know, how it works, is it just a plug an ride bit of kit ???? Item descripton is very simple
If at first it don't fit .......... Smack it with a hammer(might be the reason my B4 is nackered)

question. is it true that our banditv 400 have a limiter on the cdi?
if that is true, how come that we can redline our bikes?
anyone pls answer.

The rev limiter should kick in ABOVE redline to keep you from over-revving the engine, but it should allow you to get to redline.

The only reason I can see for removing the limiter is if you had enough engine modifications that you needed to raise the maximum allowable rpm. A stock or lightly modified motor shouldn't need to raise the limit.

aha! i saw it also and wanted to ask the same thing!. It's stating it will remove the top speed barrier at 180km/h? I seriously doubt it, but it is true i never gotten faster than 180 (i think, i had 190 indicated at 12k).
But of course, mine's completely stock.

If anyone wants it, there's an intake cam on ebay too, ask Jay for details on why you should be doing it :wink: .
I would like it, but i really really don't have the cash...
