Title: Restrictor Problem
Post by: JackBlack on May 23, 2006, 07:56:15 PM
I took the tank and air box earlier to fix me cam chain tensioner (which is good now  :thanks: ) and expected to see the restrictors in the mouths of the carbs which is where I was told they would be. But all I saw where these plastic things that slid up and down. When they were down most of the mouth was covered only a little bit at the bottom wasn't but I could just pull them up. Are they in normal carbs or is that my restrictor?

Your restrictors lie on top of those "plastic things", mounted under the top black plastic cover. They are mounted with glue or sometihing under the cover restricting those "plastic things" from going all the way up.

UH I beleive they are a washer inside the intake boot once you take the carbs off , so I've heard from various other boards.
cheers
