does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter on a 96 bandit not v.
This is my second b4, I had a 93 400vv before and it was mad but they all seem to have limiters on there which is a pain.
My 96 bandit is totallt standard and I would also like to know if there are are mods or tweeks can do to the carbs to increase the power.
No expensive solutions, were are talking diy solutions here only.
thanks

unplugging it never did anything for mine it takes some funky diode and wire to to the ground but i dont have a clue on how to do it all i have is storyies of people doing it , i got ride of it by changeing the harness and cdi to one that doesnt have the dang wire long way around it but hey!
Sorry
you can unplug it and see if you notice anything im pritty sure it is connected to the neutral switch, atleast thats what mine was connected to , ride it see if it does anything for you!

something to bear in mind is that in the uk, if you are riding on a restricted licence that removing the restriction on the bike will invalidate your licence and insurance and the cops if they have a reason to stop you will come down on you like a tonn of bricks, a mate of mine got a 10 year ban for doing it....
just something to consider
