Title: Running on a flat battery.
Post by: greatmoorred on June 16, 2009, 09:31:04 AM
Re: My previous post.
I have ordered a battery, but its going to take a few days to get here. And the weather here in the Uk is Unusually nice
So.... I can bump start my bike, and it seems to run fine. Will i damage it (fry the electrics) by taking it out for a spin on a flat battery ?

Yes.

You will most likely fry the RR perhaps overwork the generator because it is designed to keep a battery topped up and not charge from nothing.
