You know, it really reminds me of how much fun a track day is and how little fun it is coming onto a big front straight with 400cc's.

I remember hitting the limiter in 6th at NJMP Lightning with a great drive onto the front straight: 130 indicated (which is grossly optimistic) and getting freight trained by everything in the group I was running with. Liter bikes were hitting 170+, a buddy with a GPS timer clocked in at 165 on his Honda 600.

The twisty bits are fun as there is only so much speed you can carry but it does suck to have to do it all over again time and time again.

It's still fun to get out on the track with the little bike but it would be fun to be able to go fast in the straight as well as the tighter sections of the track.

I have no track experience, but I'm always amazed at how other bikes get in the way of the B4 as the road gets twistier :)
