are the standard sprokect sizes 14 on the front and 46/47 on the rear, if not what sizes do you guys run my bike only does 110mph at 14000 revs in top and Herr Tod said his did about 130 in top
????????
-
yup it is
you could of looked in the service manual you know :stickpoke:
-
some b4 are restricted to 110 so do you have 3 wires to the small plug on your cdi box ?
-
mine is restricted but surely that would mean it would get to say 10000 rpm and stop, but mine goes to 14000 and is at 110 ish but i have standard gearing 14/47 what else would effect this
-
thats the limit the restricted ones rev all the way but only go 110 seems like once you get to like 10000 rpm it doesnt make anymore power someone was doing a test on this with there neutral switch not sure if it worked or not!
-
cheers guys

14000 is 14000, if the crankshaft, the clutch, the gears behind it, the final drive and wheel size is the same, the speed is 210 km/h. Your speed would only be possible with a 12-47 (3.917) final drive.

mine has 14 47 gearing the only difference is mine has a 120/60 front tyre dont ask me why!! so would this make my speedo severly out or just a little out ???? why does my bike have to be different ???????????
