My chain is extremely loose and I am getting a new one. Since the sprockets are originals i am getting those replaced too. I was looking at vortex racings and they have a rear sprocket for the gsf 400 that is "520 conversion", but no front sprocket. I am curious to how this works and what is required, and if this conversion is better (i am only riding around the streets, no racing and any extreme driving).
Thanks a lot

sprocket specialist has the 520 front in 3 sizes
-
what the hell is the 520 conversion...just switching out the front and rear sprockets with a different pitch?
-
yes the pitch and its lighter

I was only able to find the 525 front sprocket at sprocketspecialists. IS there something special to look for. Apologizing in advance for the dumb questions, Im new to the bike world, but good with cars

you have to call them or email them they make them for me and anyone else that calls.

Well, email doesn't work... I sent off 3 over 8~10 days and never even got a single reply past my read receipts. Not too worried about it now as the money I thought I had to spend, got spent on insulation for my attic. :/
So call them, don't email.
