Review from the older post , SV650 shocks are crap!!! very soft like the bandit ones. Somemore its not adjustable except for the preload setting. Thats why owner of SV650 are changing out their rear shock. Yon can easily find cheap SV650 shock on ebay.

Yeah, they're pretty much crap and, if memory serves, they are WAY longer.

Find an 91-92 gsxr 750 shock they are rebuildable, adjustable, and better dampened. There are alway afew on ebay, just keep checking every day.
If your a light wieght you might want to use the spring off of the old shock, if your over 170 lbs you will want to run the spring that comes with the shock.

I keep hearing that the gsxr shocks are rebuildable....who does these rebuilds?
Also, do you think a '93 would work, it has the remote resivour also.  Thanks!

Should you decide the raised ride height is not to your liking for whatever reason, you can lower it with longer dogbones. We've got a FAQ on how to do that, too. (I think its in the B6/12 section though, but the principle is the same on the smaller ones, too.)
