Hey all,
Me and my 250 Bandit are back after 3 years.
I bought my first bike, the bandit(1996 non-vvt), in mid 2004. That winter i decided to fix it up, so promptly took it apart and never put it back together.
Then I bought a new Sv650 in early 2005, and forgot about the Bandit mostly.
My now girlfriend wants to learn how ot ride a bike, so I've resurrected the Bandit from the many boxes it was stored in.
It needs basically everything done to it!
Im starting with a carb and calipers rebuild/cleaning to trying to source parts for that. From my catch-up reading I might be sending a few pm's states' side :)
Hopefully working on it will be easier after 3 years of experience and accumulated how-to info :) Im considering the Gsxr750 front swap to sort out the front brakes/suspension..they're terrible on my bike for some reason, always were!
