Title: two question about 400 bandit wheels
Post by: techb on April 06, 2007, 08:05:07 AM
I am thinking about putting bandit 400 wheels on my dr350. Can somebody tell me what the inner dia. of the axle hole for the front and rear wheel. Also the width of the center section of the wheel where the bearing housing is for both wheels. Also what do you guys think of the idea of putting bandit 400 wheels on a dr350. I am trying to find a cheap way to put 17's on without spending an arm and leg for it. Thanks for any info.

Doin' the Supermoto thing?
Don't know how the cost compares to just lacing up some 17" hoops with some shorter spokes... have you looked into that?

Or is the idea to keep the DR wheels intact so you can switch back for dirt duty?

I found out that the axle sizes are very different size. I think I might just go the way of lacing up some 17 rims with stock hubs. I would keep the dirt wheels around for quick change. I was thinking that the cheap way with the bandit wheels. I have it for sale but I think if I don't sell it I will put motard wheels on it.

why don't you just buy new bearings with the correct size you need.
