CUTTIN OUT
« on: November 27, 2005, 03:34:53 PM »
Hi guys well i havent posted on here for a while. My bike has been running great until the last couple of days. It keeps cutting out. I start on the choke and leave it to warm up a while then as soon as i turn off the choke it cuts out it then takes a bit to get it started again. Once its running every time i stop at lights or slow right down with the clutch in it cuts out. Any ideas?

idle speed too low, 1/4 turn the screw to towards the rear of the bike
the vacuum line to the petcock is kinked
the breather tube from the airbox is blocked

Cheers. I did have the idle altered about 4 months ago, but i will give that a go. That is the first thing i thought it might be. Not sure how to check the others, but im sure one of the lads at work will be able to show me.
Thanks again

would sound right, especially as it's getting colder, the engine will need a little more revs.
to mess somthing up is human, but to really phuck it up you need a computer.
