Post by: Brogdon420 on October 04, 2006, 11:18:51 AM
ok well i think the problem is not with the carbs being clogged...last night my headlight fuse blew, the brake light is stuck on...and when going down the road the lights, and dash lights are flickering intermidently, bike runs pretty rough until around 5k rpm...could it be the voltage regulator? if so would this one work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120038262622

First thing I'd check is your battery connections. Make sure they are tight and not corroded.

If that's not the problem use the search feature. Look up keyword "voltage regulator" and author "interfuse" there's a good thread on how to test your regulator to see if it's working. I'd provide you with a direct link, but the board is acting funny right now and won't let me click on it... I tried... oh well.

That should help you. I just ordered a voltage r/r off of an older honda. Search this forum as theres been a lot of discussion on these things in the past.
