Title: wheel bearing prob. I think?

you know that sound you get when your driving a car and a wheel bearing is on the way out? that grinding tone in c#? well i get it on the bike and have coasted down a hill with the clutch in and its still there, so, that says to me that the wheel bearings are deffinetly worn, but when I check the wheels for play, there isn't any :?: so puzzled, maybe you guys can suggest something this is my first road bike! if it is the wheel bearings any idea where i can get the parts? and how much?

could still be the clutch most likely.  The clutch is submerged in fluid so even when the clutch lever is pulled in the clutch still spins.  Especially true if the springs are worn in there.

You should be able to get the bearings from a local bearing supply house. If you don't have one of those, you should be able to get the bearings from Suzuki. If your year 250 isn't supported by Suzuki Australia, try ordering the bearings for a 400 Bandit instead.

I got my rear bearings done about 6 months ago when I got a major service - it added about $80 to the cost of the service.   No problem with getting the part, they had something in stock, it must be fairly standard.
