im getting new tires mounted today. When i go to reinstall the wheel what do i need to keep in mind in terms of chain tension/aligment or any other things that i need to know....never done this before on a motorcycle so excuse my new-ness and ignorrance to all things motorcycle. I appreciate your help.
All i know is there are the two bolts for chain tension and thats about it really. I had no problem removing it so i hope getting it back on will be just as easy! :beers:

This is all covered well in the manual. D/L a copy from one of the links in the Members forum (http://forums.banditalley.net/viewforum.php?f=42).
What kind of hoops did you end up getting?

he had only used them for a few miles and didnt need them anymore. Excellent guy who helped the poor college kid with a great deal. You can see how badly i need them if you look at this pic

yes those are the orgional tires!!! Im sure my bike will be alot different with these new tires. I was comparing them side be side and the profile of these is round instead of flat! ill also try to get some new pics of the bike up soon as ive made a few more cosmetic changes since those pictures

Dude - it will be like a new bike. Tires make a huge difference.

Ever had the feeling you couldn't go as deep through the curves cause you'd lose your grip? Well, forget about that now

I told you! :bigok: :beers: :congrats:
Why not try respraying the covers or better yet, get them powder coated? I'm considering painting mine black to match the wheels. The one side is badly gouged and I would smooth that out with some jb weld or somthing first.
