Title: Will a GSXR rear shock fit a 1995 Bandit V?

Hello everyone,

 Am strongly considering an upgrade to a 1995 Bandit 400V.  I currently own a Bandit 250 on which I installed a GSXR rear shock.

 I wanted to find out if I can transplant the shock onto the 400.  The 400's stock shock looks a lot smaller and there doesn't seem to be room on the top end for the shock's reservior.

 Would there any difference if I mounted the shock upside down just in case I can't mount it right side up? (Sorry if its a stupid question :D its just that I wanted to use the shock)
