Just thinking of different ways to update the look of various parts on my bandit, and while at work I noticed how cool the throttle tube and on/off switch set up on the new CBR1000RR's were, very race bike looking. The CBR switches are pretty cheap and should be easy to wire up, but curious if anyone thinks this motion pro throttle tube set up would work on our bikes, or if anyone knows of one that will that doesn't have the on/off switch built in like the OE bandit tube.

says it opens 30-38 mm carbs

It looks like a single cable throttle, versus the standard Bandit dual cable setup.
You can liikely make it work, but I would expect it will need some mods, including a custom throttle cable.

Actually, the B4 uses only a single cable throttle setup. :)

scared me for a second there, I was like I know mine only has one right now
if the stock cable doesn't work they sell a universal cable specific to that tube that they say works with all carbs within the 30-38mm range, and I believe the B4 has a 33mm carb if the page I looked at was correct... i'm just wondering if any potential issues jump out at anyone, the throttle and CBR switch are together only like $30 so figure I might give it a shot

I just happen to have a pic of the b4's throttle grip while disassembled, so I'll post that a little later, so the bigger bandit riders have reference. :)
33mm sounds right.
I'd like to see this once you're finished...

Actually, US bound B4s had 32s which are still in the right range. That's slick looking. I'd love to replace/remove all the street controls on the CBR. Wonder how much of a twist those use. I'd also really like to get a 1/5 turn throttle. The HRC race throttle is pretty spendy.
