Title: WTB foot peg
Post by: VW_NUT on January 05, 2008, 11:51:16 AM
Anyone have a right side (when you are sitting on the bike) footpeg in the US?  Hangin_biposto's is cracked and we are looking for a replacement.

Is it the peg bracket or the actual footpeg that's cracked?

just the peg...  Bracket is ok, but the peg is cracked.

Will GS 500 pegs work should I come across any on eBay?

Maybe, but you don't want those chunks of iron anyway  Almost any Suzuki peg fits, sometimes it requires a small modification, my SV pegs needed to be raised a bit so I've put two small screws under them.

I used GSXR pegs ('05's I believe) to get rid of those stock monstrosities.

suppose they're a bit expensive but I grabbed some oberon pegs (http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Suzuki_GSF400.html) for my bike, i love the look of em - and much nicer to ride with than the standard black rubber :)
