« on: May 07, 2012, 01:08:40 AM »
I bought a 2001 b12 from a towing yard that is wrecked. I hope to use it in a 1990 gsxr 750 one day. but i have to fine one first, but I couldnt pass on this bike. well I finally got the lack of a key situation striaghtened out.  The ODO said this bike has 77,8xx miles.....  Have you guys ever heard of such miles on these bikes?   thats seems reallllllly high....

I havne't got the motor stated yet because the carbs needs to be cleaned and the TPS is busted up.

can I use the TPS from any other bike???

thanks,

Hey Albert

Like Tx said, not really a concern. There were several guys on this board that were well over 100,000 miles with no issues, and I seem to remember one owner who had 200,000 miles. Needed a clutch and wheel bearings, IIRC.

I sold my 02 600 Bandit with over 40,000 miles to my brother, and I think it runs better than new.
