Title: 1200 & 600 exhaust compatability?

Ok so I have a 2002 bandit 600, and was wondering if an exhaust setup for a 1200 would fit? I have a chance to buy a slip on and mid pipe combo off a 1200 but can't do a test fit as the chap's not local.

Are there any issues with fitment ie: 1200 midpipe fitting into collector is bigger than 600, different shape, etc?
If the mid pipe shape is different but close in length, do you think it could be bent to fit?

i asked the same question a while ago on another forum and was told that the 600 and 1200 are the same header pipes so they will inter change.hope that helps
