I got a pair of dunlops  208s on my b12.  Got pilot powers going on it this weekend. The back tire has a flatspot all the way around on the left chicken strip. Any help would be appreciated before i put on pilots. :thanks: [/img]

Are you runnin a 180? Sounds like it could be a rub spot. I would verify that nothing is rubbing the tire in that area.

Flat spots are usually concentrated in one small area and are usually the result of a locked wheel. Seen a couple on aircraft when anti-skid fails, never seen one on a bike.

What kind of mileage did you get out of the 208's? I have 208's on my '05 B12 now, Pilot Powers will be next. I have a set of Powers on the 900SS, they are the best sport street tires on the market right now.

Good Luck, Ed.
