Title: 1st and 2nd generation GSF1200: timing and duration specs?
Post by: quexpress on March 15, 2012, 08:32:04 PM
Hi!

The exhaust cams on the 1st generation B12 (up to 2000) have more lift than the 2nd generations ones (2001-2005).

The 2nd generation produces a bit more low end torque.

I have been searching for the timing and duration specs of the camshafts for both generations, but did not have any success.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Lots of great info but ... no cam timing and duration specs.

Thanks!

I don't think there's any difference between 1st & 2nd Gen camshafts.

Where did you get that info from?

From Suzuki service manuals.
