Title: 2002 1200 Bandit ...OIL LIGHT FLASHING...HELP!
Post by: stangboy on October 17, 2012, 02:10:06 PM
Already installed new switch....fresh oil..new filter....checked oil pressure and its great at cold or warmed up....the weird thing is that when the bike is idling and Im sitting on it with the bike straight up the light does not flash...but when I lean it over either way it starts to flash....Any  Ideas? And the bike runs great with no issues at all.

Have you checked for any possible wiring issues on the circuit? Such as a worn wire intermittently shorting out when leaning or something to that effect?

Nice figured it had to be a wiring issue. If you have not already fixed the plug you can get a heli coil repair for it and will fix your threads.
