All I need to know is if the bandit 2002 bandit 1200 arm will fit the 2002 bandit 600 with no probelm or any other work to the arm.

Never had a 600, so I couldn't tell you.  Why do you want to switch?

its not that I'm wanting to switch them for a real reason its just that I need a new arm for my bike and all and I can't find a 600 and can only find 1200 arms and I need to get them changed out

Go to Ron Ayers site and go to the Microfichs and check part numbers !!!!!

YES...
 
Get the swingarm, wheel axel and spacers and brake stay from the 1200 and mount it. No mods needed.
Note: You NEED the axel and spacers. May as well run the bigger tire if you can get the whole setup for cheap.

Here's an old pic when I was modding my 600 with the 1200 swingarm and 600 wheel.
