Thinking of going with RS38's and aftermarket cams. Any users out there?

How do the 38's work? Did you lose any streetability?

Are the G21's .380 lift and are you running stock valve guides?

I was thinking of running the 38's with .330 lift cams and stock displacement and compression. Any imput greatly appreciated.

Also, are you using the stock fuel valve or a Pingel?

Thanks.

The throttle is stiffer than stock carbs, takes getting use to. I am rumming APE short valve guides with over sized valves.
I don't think that the carbs will do much with stock engine, but the cams may help some. I ran a 1989 gsxr with 1216 cc, 13 to 1 kit with 36 mm carbs with jet kit, and ran 9.60 at 135 mph, a few years ago.
