I didn't see this when I searched.  (For some reason I couldn't search in just the 600/1200 air cooled bandit forum.  The results shown included ALL forums, even though I selected the advanced search option, then selected only the 600 1200 air cooled Bandits).  Anyway,

Is a web site for APE racing, which has been mentioned before.  APE is more high performance street/racing.  But if  ya wanna go nuts, there you are.
And FWIW Carpenter racing in West Berlin, NJ did the machine shop work on my first Bandit.  Bob(IIRC) Carpenter seemed personable enough and showed me around his shop when I dropped off my parts.
