 Are they gen specific, or are they the same?

Depends on which ones you buy.  The OEM Accessory guards and Holeshot guards will fit either gen, but the ones from Renntec & Givi appear to be generation specific - but will probably require a filler to make up for the lower motor mount the US models don't get since these guards were designed for the Euro models that have the extra motor mounts.

Thanks for the reply. I meant the Suzuki OEM guards. I was pretty sure they would fit the 1st and 2nd. gen Bandits. :thanks:
