I would say... easily.

A piped & jetted 1200 should be able to do 150 or very close to it.  And that's only about 120hp

Maybe not 150mph on a 1/4 mile dragstrip, but on an open road, I can't imagine it not, unless it is unfaired, and he weighs about 500 pounds, and has geared it down, and strapped bricks on the passenger seat, and it is running on 3 cylinders, with flat tires.

That's OK, my neighbor struck up a converstation about Buells. He said "You crotch rockets ain't got nuthin on those Buells, they're bad ass" :duh:

No doubt one is probabally faster than me in the corners but that ain't saying much.

I have seen the stock 170mph speedo pegged on mine and my digital speedo read 153 at the time. I weigh 315 and have the frontal area of a motorhome.

I do 139 in the 1/4, can easily do 170, maybe even 180, with 155 RWHP.
If I didn't have a Suzuki, I would have a Kawasaki

A bone-stock B12 should hit 150mph.

If he can't, either he's geared it down or something's wrong.

bone stock acording to MCN a 2001 hit 151 MPH average. Considering the bike is a bit overgeared I'm sure you could hit 155-160 with a jet kit and pipe.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.

I have an 05 B12 purchased in Nevada and had no problem getting up to 140 but am planning to get a Nikko G-pack module cause I heard that at 150 the bike's speed and rev limiter will kick in and prevent the bike from going past 150. Any one knows if this is true.

Nope it is drag limited, meaning she don't got the power or gearing to go faster in stock form. A stock B12 will not pull redline in 5th gear.

My speedo might be wrong but I did 150MPH the other night with a little room to go. I'm talking bone stock here, am I missing something?

Yeah Britxbike, your missing the roughly 10% error that your speedometer has!  At indicated 150 you are propably truly going about 135mph.  Get a GPS and verify it.

For the B12, the Nikko G-Pack is a waste of money. The only thing it does on the B12 is eliminate the timing change in lower gears on Euro models. The same thing can be accomplished on these bikes by snipping a wire that tells the black box what gear the bike is in. US & CDN models don't even have this wire. (Not sure about other markets, like Japan or Down-Under models.) It may be a worthwhile product in other applications, I don't know... but not worth it for Bandits.
