Hi, new member. Can someone tell me how to ID what model I have? When ordering parts there are options for GSF1200SAV and GSF1200SV/SW/SX/SY. I looked on the VIN number and I did a search of this forum with no luck. TIA.

Welcome aboard Raywolf,
I do believe the model numbers for each year are as follows ST -96, SV-97, SW-98, SX-99 AND SY-2000.
My Bandit is a model year 2000 the same color as yours and is SY coded.
