I purchased a 99 Bandit 600 as my first bike over the summer. Since it was my first bike and I hadn't ridden anything before, I managed to drop it twice...once on each side. Now I have scratches on the plastic body part surrounding the seat as well as the front fairing. I also managed to crack the fairing by the turn signal hole when the turn signal was pushed out of the way. Does anyone know of a place where I can order these body pieces? I've been holding off on replacing them, but now I feel comfortable enough on it that I know I'm not going to drop it again. Thanks.

Ebay has a ton of 600 parts. I'd check there first.

2000 model year and older 1200 bodywork also works, but won't come in the same colors. Doesn't matter if you're going to repaint everything, or if you're going for a contrasting color look.

Thanks a lot guys, I found what I needed. Just one more question. Does anyone know if you can get lower fairings (not just belly pans) for 1G 600s? I've found a bunch of belly pans. I've also found lower fairings that were for the 2G bikes. Any ideas?

lockhart philips sold them for a while but discontinued them... Im not sure who is selling them now... i had a set on my 96 Bandit 600 in dark green, still have them sitting in the garage. I might be interested in selling them, need to run it by my brother since he is the new owner of my 96 now.

If you were to sell this, how much were you looking for it? It isn't the same color as my bike, but if I can find someone to paint it to match and do it all for a decent enough price, I may be game.

I went the cheap route to fix my front right fairing. on the back side I cleaned it with ABS pipe cleaner, then placed fiberglass sheet rock tape across the damage then applied a layer of ABS pipe cement. Repeat the glue and tape until it holds together. (it is $0 cost if you already have the materials around the garage) I used some red spray paint to mask the crack and my friends couldn't tell without looking close.

Once you do this you won't drop the bike again

But with new parts you are bound to scratch or drop the bike again.
