I have read where I can swap some CAMS from a GSXR 750 into the bandit is that only for the 1200 or can this be done to the B6 ? If so what year can i swap into a 01 B6 ?

........what would there be to gain with the cam swap....if it can be done? are your OEM cams worn out ....or will this give a little more HP?
:thanks:

I am lead to believe that yes the cams from a early gsxr 750 motor will work on a B6 engine, and small gains will be made, where as if the gsxr cam in the B12 makes big gains. I was going to do the very same mod myself, but I figure the work needed was to much efen around, rejetting the b6 carbs or rejetting gsxr carbs, to suit the cams. So for now I'm just letting the minister of war, she who must be obeyed, wear out the 600 motor a bit more. Then I'll just shove the whole gsxr 750 motor in the B6.

Yes the older air cooled gsxr 750 motor do fit, but one thing must be done, a swap of the oil pans is required. I've even seen a GSXR 1100 motor from a 7/11 in a B6 frame, now that was a nice little sleeper.
