Title: carb recommendations...please?

in a 1g 12b,  stock pipe, k&n filter.. what should my main jet size be? slow jet?  air screw? needle position?

what is the stock jet size?
and what do these infamous "shims" look like? how will i know if they're shimmed once i open those puppies up?

(i've been working on old cb750's for years, which have adjustable needles.. never even seen a "shim")

anyone have a link to carb illustrations for bandits?


i just bought my bandit, love it to death, but desperately want to learn about it!

i know this place is a wealth of info.. any feedback is MUCH appreciated!!
