I don't know anyone who has, but I do know you can go with drag bars.
Bobcat had 'em on his 1G B6 and has 'em on his 2G B12.

I would have thought putting clip ons on to a Bandit was kind of defeating the purpose of the bike - each to their own I suppose.

Try these web sites - they may have something that could work.

I was thinking of going to clipons as well. I got a tip to check out Suburban Machinery. They have a bar that would bolt into the stock clamps but yeild a lower and forward position. Bars look really good. I have e-mailed them twice and tried to call several times but still haven't talked to anyone. The bar is made for the SV650 but says it will also fit a new model GS500. The bar should work but I can't get them to return my inquiry. If I ever do talk to them I'll post it up.

I put clip ons on my 98 1200, they hit the fairing no matter how I ajusted them. I gave them to a friend for his ZRX 12.

Just bought a 2005 B12, When I got home from the dealer I ordered Pro Tek 43mm clip-ons as I hated the big wide stock bar. I raised the fork tubes 1.5in in the triples and installed them above the top triple. They fit perfectly with only lock to lock clearance being a little tight on the levers clearing the faring. Bar to tank clearance is fine. The bike handles much better, steers quicker and has a sporty but not uncomfortable riding position. Photo link below. Highly recommened overall. Good Luck, Ed.
