hit the starter button and one turn of the starter and the dang went dead. I mean no electrical what so ever. It's either the ignition switch, the main fuse, or ground.
anyone have experience?
-
it's not the 30 amp main fuse...replaced it -no help
-
Short in the kill switch?
-
does the kill switch kill all electrical power or just the ignition?
And I use the kickstand switch the most.
-
Sorry. didn't read that you lost all electrical.

battery...never seen quit at once like that. Showed 12.6 volts but 0 amps at load. Used jumper cable to first check ground, then the battery.
Lifetime Cycle Gear Battery lasted me 2 years & 1 month. But I am getting a new one, charged & for free.

:thumb: Glad you figured it out.
I have a Batteries Plus battery - 2 years and 5 months later I'm getting the dreaded clock reset. :annoy:
Then again - 68 bucks - what do you expect??
-
starter solenoids are very weak they die with out notice on the before especially if you keep trying to start the bike and solenoid gets hot I fried two of those trying to start my !@#$%% b4

Had a car do that once... just died in traffic. Kicked my ass troubleshooting! Would have thought once it was running, the alternator would have kept it going. Gave me no warning. It was ~8 years old, so it wasn't a surprise it went out, but it was strange that it was turning the motor over strong 15 minutes earlier and then just went totally flat. THat's just not normal for a lead-acir battery (which it was).
